Sensei Pete Campbell started Judo in the fall of 1986 under his father Sensei Michael Campbell (Rokudan). His professional career began In the late 1990’s where Pete medaled as a national and international competitor: 1999 US Senior Nationals - Gold 2000 Pan American Games - Gold 2000 US Open - Gold and Silver 2000 Senior Nationals - Silver Sensei Pete continued to compete with the USA Judo team and was eligible for the 2000 Olympics in Sydney and again at the 2004 Olympics in Athens. Sensei Pete has since retired from competition and now focuses on the spreading of Judo through mutual welfare and benefit as intended by Jigoro Kano. Sensei Pete is a certified teacher with USA Judo and has been teaching for over twenty years.
